The in-fold is common among Asians and, from an Asian perspective, often appears as the more natural-looking line. The in-fold can also help lift the appearance of drooping outer eye corners. For those with wide-set eyes, the out-fold is often recommended over the in-fold, because creating an in-fold on an eye with an epicanthal fold can make the eyes appear even further apart.
