When Is Lower Blepharoplasty Performed?

How Is a Brow Lift Different From Upper Blepharoplasty?
A brow lift is a procedure that makes an incision above or below the eyebrow to lift sagging skin. It is similar to upper blepharoplasty, but differs in that it can improve sagging skin without creating a double eyelid.
The incision location is determined by the distance between the eyes and eyebrows. If the distance is narrow, an incision is made above the eyebrow to remove sagging skin and lift and correct it; depending on the case, a non-incisional method that simply lifts the skin without cutting is also possible. If the distance is sufficient, an incision is made below the eyebrow to remove sagging skin and lift and correct it, which may also help improve irritation or chafing around the eyes.

Causes include a genetically or acquired hollowing of the under-eye tissue that creates a shadow effect, increased melanin pigment and pigmentation, thin under-eye skin that allows subcutaneous veins to show through, protrusion or hollowing of under-eye fat, and under-eye wrinkles caused by aging.
Dark circle filler is a non-surgical procedure that fills in hollowed areas to improve shadowing, and the degree of effect may vary depending on the underlying cause.
